The Breakthrough Canon is the Single Source of Truth for Africa's EdTech Breakthrough Project. It comprises five document collections:

  1. The Breakthrough Essays, which describe the System's design and rationale;
  2. The Project Plans, which specify how the System is to be built;
  3. The Development Partner Documentation, which provides decision frameworks and governance information for prospective Development Partners;
  4. The Exhortations, which make targeted cases for action to specific stakeholder groups; and
  5. The Global Education Outcomes Standards (GEOS), which define the standards infrastructure that makes education outcomes finance-grade.

Breakthrough Essays

A series of essays on Africa's EdTech Breakthrough System & Project — from the Four Barriers that keep Africa's best EdTech out of its learners' hands, through the design of the RESPECT Platform and its economic model, to the funding architecture and The Ask.

Project Plans

Detailed plans for the Sun-Project (V&P_Core) and each of the ten Sun-orbiting Planet-Projects that comprise Africa's EdTech Breakthrough Project.

Development Partner Documentation

Decision frameworks, governance, risk mitigation, and attribution guidelines for Development Partners considering engagement with Africa's EdTech Breakthrough Project.

Exhortations

Targeted essays addressed to specific stakeholder groups, making the case for a specific course of action within the Breakthrough System — from app developers to ministers to investors.

Global Education Outcomes Standards (GEOS)

Proposed standards, data pipelines, and governance for making education outcomes finance-grade — enabling results-based funding at continental scale.
